Our Basic Requirements
In order to rent from Grace Fine Motorcars, we have the following three (3) requirements: Proof of Sufficient and Complete Automobile Insurance Coverage at the Time of Reservation.
NOTE: Because some our luxury autos require higher coverage, we recommend you check with your insurance agent prior to making a reservation. We will need proof in writing of sufficient coverage from your agent at the time of the reservation. We are happy to assist you in confirming this coverage. To make it easy, simply download the appropriate Proof of Insurance (POI) form below for your desired vehicle, provide it to your insurance agent and have them fax it back to us quickly so that we can confirm your reservation.

For corporate accounts, we require an Additional Driver Agreement / Insurance Information form completed and returned by fax to us three business days prior to your rental. The following is a downloadable PDF.

- Valid Driver’s License and Good Driving Record.
If you have had only minor issues such as parking tickets or a traffic citation, that's ok. We're more concerned with a DWI, reckless operation, convicted or pled guilty of 3 or more moving violations or 2 or more accidents, or over 8 points in two years. For new clients, we may run a driver’s license check and driving record with the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) on anyone who will be driving the vehicle. In the rare instance where these checks fail to meet our requirements, we will turn down your rental request.
- Minimum 25 Years of Age for All Drivers.
Payment Methods
We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Discover credit cards. We also accept debit cards. We do not accept prepaid or gift cards, cash, checks or money orders. On both credit and debit cards there must be sufficient balance to cover the deposit and the cost of the rental. On the day prior to your rental, we will submit an authorization for the deposit and rental amount. This is a confirmation of available funds, and it will place a temporary hold on the deposit/rental cost on your credit/debit card. This is not yet a charge. If there is not sufficient balance available and you can not provide another credit or debit card with sufficient balance, we will cancel the rental and you may be subject to a charge similar to our Reservation/Cancellation Charges noted on this page.
When the rental is completed, we will charge your card for the rental fees, any cleaning fees or repairs (see Damage Deposits), and then release the remaining deposit amount. NOTE: Your bank may not recognize the authorization release right away, so we suggest you check with them.
Delivery and Pick-up of the Vehicle
Luxury and Mini AutomobilesGrace Fine Motorcars will deliver and retrieve your luxury and Mini automobile within the greater Columbus area at no additional charge. This includes a 25 mile radius of Dublin, Ohio, a northwest suburb of Columbus. Other locations within Ohio will require a one-time delivery fee which will vary depending upon the distance from Dublin, Ohio. For out-of-town clients we can arrange to meet you at a safe, convenient location close to the I-270 outer belt for our delivery and retrieval in order for you to avoid a delivery charge.
We ask that you keep us informed of your ability to make the meeting times on both the delivery and retrieval in order for you to avoid any late charges or another day rental fee. Please read Late Charges for more information.
Smart Cars
Grace does not include any free delivery or retrieval of Smart cars. Rentals may be picked up at our corporate office just off State Route 33 west of Dublin, by appointment only, from 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week. We also offer delivery within the Columbus area as well as throughout Ohio for a one time fee, depending on the distance from our offices.
Damage Deposit
All renters must submit a damage deposit on a credit/debit card 24 hours prior to the rental. All rental car companies charge some form of a deposit. This is to cover minor damages such as door dings, scratches, additional cleaning costs, replacement parts, or to cover your deductible if the vehicle requires professional repairs. This amount usually varies depending upon the values of the cars.
The deposit is in addition to the actual cost of the rental, and will be combined and applied as a credit/debit card authorization.
If the vehicle is returned in good condition (road dirt, salt, etc. is acceptable), the deposit amount will be waived leaving only the rental costs to be charged towards the authorization. We will process charges immediately upon the return of the rental, thus releasing our hold on the remaining amount. Your bank may take longer to process this release. If this is a concern, we suggest you contact them for more information.
If the vehicle is returned with damages, or requires excessive cleaning and/or parts to return it back to the condition in which it was delivered, any related charges -- along with the rental cost -- will be applied to the authorization. We will notify you of any damages or extra services required as soon as possible after the rental.
Our deposits vary depending upon the vehicle, so please call for information.
Rental Rates
Our daily rental rate is based on a 24-hour period. 3-day rates are based on 72 hours, and our weekly rate is based on 7 daily rates. We offer discounted rates for 3-day weekend and weekly rates.
Vehicle Promise
Don’t worry about selecting a second choice. Once we confirm your reservation, your selected automobile will be reserved for you and delivered/available for pick-up barring any unforeseen circumstances such as unexpected service or repairs.
Getting to Know your Automobile
On delivery, for those who aren’t familiar with the controls, we will review all the instrumentation, safety and entertainment features. Let us know ahead of time and we’ll pre-program the GPS devices with your destinations.
Roadside Assistance
All of our automobiles come with 24-hour roadside assistance. The card will be in the glove box.
Additional or Special Requests
For an minimal additional fee, we can provide you with portable GPS units, child safety seats, car bows and magnetic signs for special occasions. If you have any special requests, let us know when you reserve your automobile. We’d love to help!
Mileage Allowance and Driving Area Restrictions
Grace Fine Motorcars allows 200 miles a day free, and then a $0.60 per mile charge beyond the 200 miles a day. For weekly rentals with driving destinations no further west than the Mississippi River or outside U.S. borders, we offer Unlimited miles on all rentals for a limited time.
We require all vehicles to remain in the state of Ohio, unless prior authorization has been given by Grace Fine Motorcars. No vehicle may travel west beyond the Mississippi River or leave the continental United States.
Refueling Charge
Your automobile will be delivered with a full tank of gas.
You may refill prior to our pick-up or we will refill and charge the current market cost plus a $25.00 service fee.
NOTE: It is required that you use the premium octane (91) as dictated by the manufacturers.
Late Charges
Because we personally deliver and retrieve all our luxury vehicles, Grace Fine Motorcars allows a 1 (one) hour "grace" period from the scheduled drop-off and retrieval time.
If you are unable to make your scheduled drop-off or retrieval time, please notify us at least 3 hours prior to arrange a new time. If you exceed the 1 hour grace period, fail to notify us of your delay and we have dispatched our personnel based upon the original meeting time, you will be charged $50 per hour up to an additional full day's rental rate.
Reservation/Cancellation Charges
If you need to change your reservation or cancel, you must notify us at least three (3) business days prior to delivery. If you fail to notify us or are a no-show within the scheduled time of delivery's grace period, you will be charged 100 percent of the total rental reservation price. Cancellations without prior notice are not entitled to a cash refund. However these charges will be valid to use against a future rental.
Additional Drivers
All additional authorized drivers (including spouses and family members) are required to qualify to drive the automobile. (See Basic Requirements) Employers and co-employees renting on a corporate account, if properly licensed and meets our age requirements, are authorized to drive the rented vehicle while acting within the scope of their employment duties.
International Drivers
These renters must provide a valid driver’s license in English. They must meet our minimum age requirement and provide proof of sufficient automobile insurance. If they don’t have a driver’s license in English, then they will also need to provide a valid passport and current International Drivers Permit (IDP). The IDP without a license doesn’t entitle the person to drive the vehicle.
Driving Rules and Regulations
When operating our vehicles, we require you to follow and obey all driving laws and regulations. Any citations or violations are your responsibility as required by law. If you fail to handle these violations personally, we will turn them over to a third party administrator. Our vehicles are not to be used off-road, carry passengers for hire (unless approved by Grace prior to the rental), tow or push anything, be operated in any test, race or contest or on unpaved roads.
No Smoking, Air Fresheners or Pets
Because we want all of our clients to enjoy a pristine, like-new automobile... smoking, air fresheners and pets are prohibited in all of our vehicles. If you violate this rule, you will be charged an additional professional cleaning charge and for any related parts and labor required to return the vehicle to its pre-rental appearance and smell.
Film, Video and Tradeshow Use
If you would like to use our vehicles for exhibition, photography or tradeshows, please let us know and we will be happy to assist you in making any arrangements.
